Weeks ago, my house was damaged by a hailstorm, a particularly nasty example of Texas’s 31 flavors of crappy weather. I mentioned before how utterly overwhelming it is dealing with the redtape; it still feels like I’m no closer to accomplishing anything than 2 months ago.
How do you keep going dealing with a long-running project, when you’re just so friggin’ tired of it?
My latest trick is to look at the list of all the things on my iOS to-do list that I’ve already accomplished. It’s a long and mind-numbing, and I allow myself to be impressed with how far I’ve come, instead of dwelling on what still remains.
Got any tricks for dealing with frustrating project? Let me know in the comments!
